Hormonal Imbalance

Hormones play a vital role in our well-being. They regulate a wide array of processes through out our body such as:
-Growth -Cell Repair
-Metabolism -Regulation of pain.
-Fertility -Appetite

Hormones are physiological messengers produced throughout the body and they communicate with our organs and one another to help maintain a balance designed to keep a person happy and healthy.

Sometimes, however, the delicate balance of hormones is disrupted. This is referred to as Hormonal Imbalance. It can occur both in men and women of any age, though it is most commonly seen in adults beyond middle age.
As people age, natural changes occur in our body chemistry and affect the production of natural hormones. Menopause, Peri-menopause, or Andropause are such changes that can disturb the balance of our hormones.

Hormone decline is also influenced by other factors such as stress and activity level, diet, and even environment all affect your hormone levels.
All of these imbalances can manifest themselves in a wide variety of physical and emotional symptoms. Outward symptoms tend be varied and nonspecific.

Some physical indicators of possible hormonal imbalance include sudden weight gain, fatigue (simply tired), acne, hair loss, night sweats, anxiety, insomnia, loss of appetite, poor concentration, and reduced libido. Women may experience premenstrual symptoms such as vaginal dryness, yeast infections, and hot flashes.
Untreated hormonal imbalance can lead to intense symptoms that can take a significant emotional toll on both the patients and those around them. It can lead to chronic diseases such as heart disease and osteoporosis.

If hormone imbalance is suspected, your doctor can take a lab test designed to detect hormone levels and determine whether they’re within a normal range.
By generating a hormone profile, it can help your doctor determine which course of therapy is right for you and alleviate your symptoms.

Hormone balance is crucial for optimal health and well-being. The right therapy can give you a youthful balance and sense of good feeling.
